These are pictures of Riley and Collins. Collins is Riley's best Dothan friend and is just two days older than Riley. Collins is the son of one of my oldest friends, Christy Carter Martin. We grew up together, threw each other off the inner tube at the lake (really, Christy was a tube hog and always made me fall off!!), attended Auburn together, were in each other's weddings, and had babies together. Collins is named after our dear friend Leigh Anne Collins who passed away.
Look closely at these two photos--the boys are on the same quilt (made by my Aunt Janice for Caleb), but these pictures were taken exactly a month apart. See if you can tell which photo was taken first. One was taken in May and the other was in June.
Christy and I look forward to seeing Riley and Collins grow up together. There's nothing like old friends. "Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver, the other gold."
What a sweet post!! I am so glad they are close in age so they can grow up together. When they are big enough, we can take them to the lake and let them ride the tube together! I can't wait to see Riley and take more pics of them together!
